Introduction Born in South Africa, moved to Australia as a child, writing poems since 13, and songs since 15, Danny first gained attention as a writer of catchy pop songs in the bands “Crazy Jane And The Bishops” and “The Paranoids”. Of Danny’s first demo, Dave Larkin of Dallas Crane said Danny possessed “an accomplished sensibility for pop” . Danny has now made 3 albums, an acoustic album “Eleven”, an electric album “16 Pop Songs” and an album of his music and poetry, “The Ghost Poems”. Danny has had his poetry published in The Western Review, Going Down Swinging, Verandah, and other periodicals. He was awarded the emerging writer-in-residency at The Katherine Sussanah Pritchard Writers’ Centre in 1995. In 2005 he published his first book of poetry, “Dangerous Times With The Humourless Psychologist”, which sold out of two print runs in under a year. Danny currently resides in Western Australia.
