| Introduction | I was born in San Francisco and have lived all over California. I come from an artistic family. There are photographers and artists on both sides. My dad is an oil painter, my Mom a pastel and charcoal artist, neither of them did much with their artwork but they are fabulously talented nonetheless. My very first camera was a Brownie. Oh, I loved that little camera! My uncle would encourage me and I pursued my interest in snatching opportunities for great pictures of the things that inspired me. In my elementary, high school and college years, I took every art class I could. I enjoyed photography, ceramics, sculpting, drawing and painting all along the way. As an adult, I have used art as a hobby. I am pretty much self taught with the exception of rubbing shoulders with several professional artists along the way. My passion is to share the beauty around me in creative ways, which has drawn me to present my photography here on my blog. I hope you enjoy what you find here. Feel free to comment! |
