| Introduction | I'm British and for the last 10 years I have lived in Holland. I have 3 children who are bi-lingual in English and Dutch. Unfortunately I have started this blog because of the injustices we have endured as a family at the hands of a school and ultimately the AMK. I had the option to send my children exclusively to international private schools and I wish I had have done instead of this stupid idillic idea of exposing my children to another language and culture. If you're foreign and you don't have to send your children to Dutch schools, for the love of God, don't. NB: I have mentioned 2 people by name, Ad van Disseldorp and Annelies van Katwijk. I know there are other people who have the same names, Ad van Disseldorp who runs for charity, for instance is unconnected to this. Please do not mix the wrong people up. |
