| Introduction | I am still trying to figure out who I am. I haven't really decided what to be when I grow up, and, well, it's getting a little late for that. Once-upon-a-time I wanted to be a journalist, a photographer, a school teacher, an artist, an author, a chef, an architect, an interior designer, a fabric designer, a landscape designer, a fashion designer..... is there a trend here? I never wanted to be a musician, I can't carry a tune.... nor an athlete, I'm just not built that way. I like to quilt and dance and cook and eat well and drink good wine. My greatest accomplishment is my three wonderful kids of whom I am very proud. I don't like dirt or disorganization -- my home is cluttered but I know where everything is. I like systems and order and procedure. I'm not competitive, I'm not good at taking risks, I don't like danger. I am most at peace when outdoors, any weather, alone with nature. I am very sensual, I love texture and colour and sounds and smells and flavour. I am shy, not good in crowds or social settings. And I really have trouble dealing with idiots. |
