Introduction	I began this blog in part as a creative outlet and as a way to share my writing with my friends, but also in part to spare my husband from my tendency to leave trails of paper scraps scribbled with images and ideas all over the apartment. My writing often begins on post-it notes and in the margins of class or work notes (hence the title). Somehow spiral-bound notebooks just don't work for me. I have also recently taken on a quarterly column for AWIS magazine and will post my columns here :)
