Introduction | Welcome to my blog. I enjoy cycling on country lanes where I can feel and hear the sounds of the countryside. My local areas are Dartmoor and the South Hams in Devon. I enjoy cycle touring whether it is for short or much longer trips. In 2016 I cycled coast to coast from the Med to the Atlantic along the southern slopes of the Pyrenees. I started publishing stories about my rides in 2010 when I wanted to test myself with a long distance adventure and at the same time raise money for an environmental charity. This was the North Sea Cycle Route and my charity was the Devon Wildlife Trust. The distance was 6,000km which I did in 72 days. I made many friends who I still see today and raised over £3,000. I continue to support environmental charities and these include Devon Wildlife Trust and Sustrans. My blog is short stories what I do |
