Introduction I'm a stay-at-home Mommy who is also attending college. I recently graduated from NSU with a Bachelor's degree in English. I am working toward the alternative teaching certification program, and will hopefully be a certified high school or middle school English teacher soon. I love going to school because it's my time to get to be around adults and have adult conversations. But my greatest joy in life is having my kiddos climb up in my lap and hug on me or ask me to read them a story. I will cherish every moment at home that I get with them.
Interests Poetry (writing and reading it), singing, latch hook sewing, reading, spending as much alone time with my husband as I can get (which isn't much), going to the movies (which doesn't happen often), and taking care of my "babies" who are growing up faster than I'd like.
Favorite Movies Wizard of Oz, You've Got Mail, Sweet Home Alabama, Sex and the City Movie, Old School, Anchorman, Blades of Glory....I could go on and on.
Favorite Music I like many many genres of music. I'm absolutely in love with girl groups from the 60s. I basically love all 60s and 80s music (with certain exceptions). I am a big fan of Contemporary Christian music as well. I like most things from Classical to Jazz. I'll even listen to a little "alternative" music from time to time. But for the most part, I will not listen to country music, unless it's crossed over to mainstream.
Favorite Books I am an avid reader, so there are too many books to name here. But my all-time favorite book has got to be "The Secret Garden."
