| Introduction | Were you to catch me out on the streets, well, were you to catch me out on the streets I'm almost positive you wouldn't recognize me, but that point aside, were you to catch me out on the streets you would be surprised at how softspoken and unassuming I appear. At first. This blog is going to harbor my thoughts and feelings (mostly government related seeing as how this is for a class) however at this moment I'm feeling inclined to start another personal one which I will link you to as soon as it is operational. (I'm sure there's a more pertinent place to put that bit, but I'm new here, sorry.) Politically I consider myself a moderate Libertarian. Left socially, a little more to the right fiscally, nothing extreme. My biggest political influence (I'm not afraid to admit this) has been my dad. I did not vote in the last election (my absentee ballot was mailed to the wrong address) although my vote would have gone to Bob Barr, because I like the way he's flopped since last decade. |
| Interests | Music, Brewing (Coffee or Beer, both excite me), Skiing, Anatomy and Physiology, Nutrition, Animals, Literature, Maintaining connections with the landed gentry despite being impoverished and unemployed, Cocktails, Sex, Good Movies, Terrible Movies, Terribly Good Movies, Friends with Benefits, Friends without Benefits, Sartorial analysis, Criticizing the public at large (bitching) |
| Favorite movies | I don't really keep a list anywhere... |
| Favorite music | (In no particular order): Alternative Rock, Hard Rock, "Adult Alternative" (The hell does that even mean?), Rap (especially conscious), Hip Hop, Techno, House, Electro, Psytrance, Vocal Trance, Psychedelic, Pop pop pop, Country, Bluegrass, Folk, Spanish and Classical Guitar, Heavy Metal, you get the idea. Anything but rapcore (Which I don't think anyone remembers was ever a genre in the first place.) |
| Favorite books | I don't read as much as I should. I'm going to preface with that, but here's the last 6 books or so I've read: Princes of Ireland, Ground Up, Cheating At Canasta (Short stories, I've read half of them and so far they're excellent), Been Down So Long Everything Looks Like Up To Me (Have not read past the first two chapters, having trouble connecting to Fariña's writing style,) Stiff (Great read, maybe because I'm a curious gemini), Boink (Also awesome because it's the same author as Stiff and about one of my favorite subjects.) |
