| Introduction | I am originally from Connecticut in the USA. I moved to Australia in 1992 when I was granted a 2 year transfer. That's turned out to be alot longer than 2 years! I am a highly experienced investment analyst, mentor & professional speaker. I am also expert in valuation, conducting due diligence and structuring M&A transactions. I have completed deals for companies ranging in size from start-up to more US$600 million turnover. Work has covered venture capital investments, private equity investments, mergers, acquisitions and divestments. I am a regular speaker on money and business, particularly on building business value. I am a regular guest lecturer at the highly regarded Australian Graduate School of Management in Sydney. In my spare time, I provide mentoring and advice to people wishing to accelerate the growth of their business. When not working, I love to spend time with my wife Ann, do triathlons, read, bush walk, garden and travel. Tom is currently co-authoring the 5th Edition of Enterprise and Venture Capital. The book is a business builders guide. |
