Introduction	My name is Carol and I live in York County PA. I have been overweight most of my life and it is taking it's toll (See "To my dear Christopher). I want to be around for my kids as long as I can. I especially want to be around for my grandson who is the apple of both mine and and my husband's eyes. Hopefully, there will be more grandchildren some day and I want to be around for them too. I don't want to miss that for anything. I am not a nutritionist. I am just a Mother and Grandmother who is struggling with what I need to do to lose weight. There will be alot of trial and error to see what works for me. Finding the time and energy to exercise and plan meals is a challenge. Trying to have the "mindfulness" of what I am eating is even a bigger challenge. The problem is that I LOVE to eat. Please follow along if you like. I will try to keep a sense of humor while going through this journey. Occassionally, I may relate a story that either my family or my coworkers seem to get enjoyment out of. My family LOVES to hear and tell about their mom's/step mom's mishaps and as you will see, there are many. I hope you will enjoy them as well. Love to all, Yo Mama
