| Introduction | When my hometown's local newspaper photographer snapped my photo hunched over a book at age six in the public library, he really caught the essence of me. I've spent my entire life reading and loving books, specifically children's picture books. I worked in retail bookstores for almost ten years. These days, that newspaper photo is on display in the home I make with a tall, handsome man and the three little tykes we're so blessed to have hanging around here. Those little guys see to it that I spend most of my days reading and/or picking up an average of 20 books a day. Let me tell you, it's the life. |
