Introduction	I'm fascinated by almost everything. When I was a kid one of my favorite things to do was to thumb through our World Book encyclopedias and read the articles at random. I love learning new things, and I especially love contemplating new ideas. That's what led me to study philosophy and theology in college and graduate school. But along the way, I realized the things you learn in books have to be tested in the real world. So that's what I aim to do - live my life as an experiment, putting ideas into action. The Mentalcourse blog is sort of a collection of field notes from that experiment.
