| Introduction | About me? What to say? Maybe that I was blessed by having two grandmothers who were true wizards in the kitchen! Who endowed me with a love of food, of preparing good, wholesome food for my friends and family. That is part of their legacy to me and for that, I will be eternally grateful. I studied home economics when I was much younger and learned a little then of the science of food. That sparked more interest. But I had been in the kitchen before I could stand! I would play with a bit of dough, knead it, taste it, smell it. And now I reside in Canada's littlest province, an island just off the eastern coast of Canada, Prince Edward Island, that still has agriculture and fishing as part of its economic and cultural mosaic. This is a great place to live and a great place to visit. In beginning this blog, I am sharing with you the love of bringing people of common interest together at the table like my grandmothers did every day of their lives. Celebrate your togetherness!
