Introduction	I live in rural Brown City, Michigan. Everyone needs a "passion", and I found mine when a plant trade brought a Daylily to my garden. I almost didn't plant it because I thought, "they are all yellow or orange and only bloomed for a day". Did I really want to devote garden space to that? Oh well, there was an empty space so the dry little thing was planted. Come Spring, it bloomed pink, who would have thought it! In an effort to identify what Daylily it was I turned to the internet. Of course I never managed to identify it, but my world changed when I discovered the diversity and beauty of the Daylily.
