| Introduction | I am a single mom to a beautiful daughter and an adorable son, both born in China. My daughter, Elizabeth, was born in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi Province, and was adopted two days before her first birthday in October, 2005. I waited a mere six and a half months for her referral. My son, Jack, was born in Dongguan City, Guangdong Province. He was a waiting child and was placed in my arms in November, 2008, when he was 18 months old. Elizabeth was in fostercare and was a healthy child; Jack lived in an orphanage and had special needs when adopted, including a repaired cleft lip and unrepaired VSD (a heart condition). They are both absolutely perfect! Together, they have made me the luckiest mama in the whole world!!! |
