| Introduction | I grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana, a city surrounded by farming communites. Some of my fondest memories include driving through the countryside. I have since lived in Italy, Mexico, Michigan, Oregon, and now Colorado. I have been seriously painting with pastels since the year 2000. Through my use of color I strive to convey the emotions evoked when I see a beautiful landscape. My soft but vibrantly colored landscapes evoke a powerful sense of intimacy and peacefulness. My pastel paintings serve as a reminder that the natural world is a place of delight and wonder. |
