| Introduction | Suzette Amaya, Kwakwak wakw, Cree, Nisga, Coast Salish, Born and raised in East Vancouver, BC. Graduated from Port Hardy Secondary obtained a Diploma in Criminology and Associates of Arts Degree. Suzette Amaya is a mother of two. Currently Ms. Amaya hold many roles within the Vancouver Community, a Support worker with St. James Community Service Society, working with Women & Children in the Downtown Eastside with Homelessness, Poverty, Addictions, HIV/AIDS, Mental Health and those suffering from Emotional, Physical, Financial, and Sexual Abuse. Suzette is passionate about helping youth through addictions, MCFD issues, homelessness, abuse and schooling.
