| Introduction | Enlisted during the '40's. Sent to the Army's 101st Airborne Division right out of Basic. Later, reassigned to an Engineering Unit in Italy, along the Yugoslav-Slovenian border. The Yugo partisans had lobbed grenades at the Italian partisans, trying to take over the Italian port of Trieste (112km north of Venice). Upon discharge, took the GI bill to receive Engineering Degree. Worked in TV Mfg, Missile Defense, and Mainframe Computer industries. Now Retired. Married: 2 children. |
