| Introduction | Musings from a man who is now old enough to act curmudgeonly, yet is not quite that cantankerous. I am a Christian, seriously committed to the truths of the Bible, the Reformation and any Biblical church. I love to cook, read, play word games, solve crossword puzzles, listen to classical music, play computer games. My wife is a Filipina named Hermie. I have 2 sons, ages 32 and 29. I am currently unemployed, but have taken what I like to call a "multi-track" career - a number of different jobs that have interested and challenged me to do my best. (If you know of any general job openings in the San Diego area, please let me know. Might as well use the blog for networking, too.) |
| Favorite movies | I love the musicals from the 50s, 60s and 70s - Sound of Music, My Fair Lady, Camelot, Man of La Mancha, West Side Story, Oklahoma, Singing in the Rain, etc. Also like classic movies starring Fred Astaire. Other genres: Western, Adventure, Suspense, Sci-Fi. |
| Favorite music | I am a classical music nut, with particular appreciation of music from the classical and romantic eras. Favorite composers: Haydn, Mozart, Dvorak, Brahms, Schubert, Tchaikovsky. |
| Favorite books | The Bible The Pilgrim's Progress Any books by R. C. Sproul, Michael Horton, John Stott. D. James Kennedy. Enjoyed reading Tom Clancy's novels, too. |
