| Introduction | I'm an "empty nester" who loves to paper craft, mixed media, scrapbook and art journal. I'm a mother to three awesome young adults, the youngest on the Autistic Spectrum and Neurodivergent. Scrapbooking was my launching point and my "sanity" but has allowed me to preserve our memories and freeze time. Now it's just day to day life with hubby and youngest daughter, navigating adult life on the spectrum. I use to teach Art Journaling at my local scrapbook store. But those days have come to an end, and I found my self staring at my studio. I have forgotten how to create for me, create with intention, and create for the sake of creating. So, instead of creating for someone, I'm going to pick and choose what I create. It can be scrapbook pages, art journal, atc/memorydex..the sky is the limit. This should be an interesting journal of creative exploration! |

When you open your eyes underwater, do you ever worry that you'll drown?
I love the beauty of water but scared of being underwater, let alone opening my eyes. Drowning is one of my unrationalized fears!
