| Introduction | I was born in the US but have spent most of my life in Australia, apart from the 5 years that my husband and I lived in Hong Kong. Having travelled from a young age, the travel bug has me well and truly in its grasp, and I love visiting new places and seeing different cultures. My travel always includes some birdwatching time, and my life list is now well over 2000 species. I enjoy looking at all aspects of nature, but birds in particular. As far as other pursuits go, I love knitting and have recently started spinning as well. I like photography, particular nature photography. I enjoy gardening and love cooking with my own home-grown vegetables. |
