| Introduction | I am a kid at heart, but at the same time, an old soul. It makes for an interesting combination. Africa has stolen my heart. I am looking forward to seeing loved ones back home in the states, but I can't fathom leaving Bots. I have discovered on this trip how much I adore mission work, and how much I adore children...they work their way into your heart so quickly, you don't even know what has hit you! |
| Favorite movies | It's A Wonderful Life, Newsies, Dumb and Dumber, Finding Neverland, The Princess Bride, and basically any Hitchcock. I am huge fan of the classics. |
| Favorite music | I love the classics/standards. Big fan of Sinatra, Dean Martin, Louis Armstrong, and Jimmy Durante. Love love love Michael Buble. I also am a huge fan of my old-school Christian music (Steven Curtis Chapman, dc Talk, Audio Adrenaline) |
| Favorite books | The Hiding Place, The Poisonwood Bible, The Innocent Man, and The Time Traveler's Wife have all jumped up to being my favorite books. I read them all in 2009. I hope to discover as many great books in 2010! |
