| Introduction | Scattered says it all. I seem disorganized, but I can keep track of things unless it gets moved by a well-meaning person,then all bids are off. I'm a perfectionist, to the point of being obsessive. If I think a task is too hard, then I won't even start it.Go ahead,call me lazy,but why should I do a poor job? Anyone can be mediocre but I want perfection! I have sleep disorders.Sleep Apnea,Insomnia and night terrors.My CPAP keeps me alive at night.I have PTSD and phobias and SAD.They affect who I am and how I do things.Some days,they "paralyze" me,and I can't function or do even the smallest job,but most of the time,I'm fine.Unfortunately,these things will take on a life of their own,and the smallest event will change me from being a confident woman into a vulnerable child.I rarely go too far away from home alone for that reason,but I've learned how to manage going some places alone. Crowds make me uncomfortable and crowded waiting areas and malls are torture for me.Other types of crowds are fine,like outdoor concerts or Disneyland,but I still make sure I have a reference point.I have pets and a family, but references to them here will be minimal.I have other places to discuss them. |
