Introduction | I was born in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada in 1962. My father comes from Finland, and my mother's parents are also from Finland, although she was born in Canada. When I was 1-year old, we moved to The City of Big Shoulders - Chicago. My sister (my only sibling) was born in 1966. When I was 6-years old, we moved to the Chicago suburbs, and I went to grade school and high school in Wheeling, Illinois. After graduating from WHS, I attended Northwestern University where I met my beautiful wife - Mrs. The Big Finn - and I graduated in 1984. We had our first date in 1984, and we were married in 1987. After having both lived in Chicagoland since 1963, my wife's job brought us (including our dog and cat) to Basel, Switzerland in 2000. I originally planned on taking a few months off before looking for work, but me being a full-time man-servant was working so well that we decided to make it permanent. In July 2010, we moved back to the U.S., thus ending the Swiss chapter of our lives. What lies in store for us? Check back often to find out. |

You have to dig a hole to China. Where do you start?
China is a very big country, so you'll have to be more specific.
