Why does the color blue mean raspberry-flavored?
Well, it turns out that there's actually a strain of raspberry known as the blue raspberry, even though it's more of a purple-black color. It became popular in the 1950s, apparently because it was an easy way to make raspberry distinct from strawberry. How did I answer questions like this before Wikipedia?
