IntroductionI am a former Marine who served two tours in Iraq with 1st LAR. Just like everyone else, my political and philosophical views have evolved over time. I started out as a young boy mimicking my father in following mainstream republican views. I slowly made my way left after reading books by Noam Chomsky. I saw this great divide among the common people and the elite. I blamed large corporations and their abuses for this. I still believe this is the case, but I believe government protected monopolies, complex and expensive barriers to entry and other measures and regulations preventing real competition are the cause. With that in mind I made another political u-turn and now embrace the Austrian model for government. This is based on sound money, real free market, competition, and limited governement. I owe this new change to the incredibly bright people at the Mises Institute. I am currently in school at Front Range Community College.

All of the phone numbers have fallen out of your address book. Whose number do you look for first and why?

That would have to be my girlfriend Evie because she is my best friend and I wouldn't want to live without her.
