| Introduction | Kathy Riley is a retired teacher living in Denver, Colorado. For my gmail address, I chose "kathyintransition" after my retirement from 20 years of English teaching in Japan. I was in transition to living in the US full-time, but I have since seen how the process of transition is always present: from city to country, from views that evolve from one set of ideas to another, from growth from one age to another, and from one activity to another. I hope to explore many kinds of transitions in this blog--from earlier stages of my life to the present, and I welcome your comments.
