| Introduction | Dan Speerin, Vince Kesavamoorthy, Alan So and Rebecca De La Cour write and produce satire for the group Cynically Tested here in Canada. Three years ago we produced a small indie comedy with an international following called "Twixters". It was about everyone we knew and how screwed we all were coming out of University. We were then asked to create a talk show called "the what is" to set the record straight on Generation Y. Well turns out there's a lot of people who disagree with us and the MSM has made a killing by selling y-bashing to baby boomers so they can feel better as we push them out of their jobs. Are we really the dumbest generation ever? Or just without a voice in the media? We never asked for the job of defending our own generation, but being in our twenties in this economy, we'll take any job someone gives us. |
