| Introduction | I worked as an R.N. for 41 years and retired after working night shift for 37 years in a hospital based Physical Medicine( REHAB) unit. I am a crafter, gardener, decorator, blogger, a mother a grandmother and a new Widow... I was married to Joe ( who is a retired Letter Carrier) for 45+ years, who recently passed away from pancreatic cancer that spread to his liver only 3 weeks after being diagnosed... We have 2 amazing sons and a wonderful DIL who live right down the road!! We recently became first time grand parents to 2 identical twin grand daughters...Luckily, my husband did get to see them and hold them before he passed... I LOVE the Victorian Era and have decorated our home in that style creating my own little Bed and Breakfast. Life is too short and "It is never to late to be what you might have been". I am happy that we both retired at 62 years old and got to spend that time together before Joe passed on April 16, 2024. It will be hard but I am looking forward to this next chapter in my life and will continue living the rest of my Life for the both of us!!! |
