| Introduction | My name is Aliyu Abdullahi Dange. I was born at Dange, a town almost twenty-five kilometres West ward of the ancient city of Sokoto, Nigeria. I was in attendance of Model Primary School, Dange from 1983 to 1988. I went to a near-by Government Junior Secondary School, Dange, from 1988 to 1991. Having sat for and passed the Screening Tests conducted by Science and Technical Education Board Sokoto, I was admitted to Nagarta College, Sokoto, a prestigious and probably oldest secondary school in North-West Geo-political Zone of Nigeria. I completed secondary education in 1994.Yearning to make teaching my career, I enrolled into an NCE programme of Shehu Shagari College of Education, Sokoto, between 1997 and 2000. I got a Bachelor's degree(B.A.Ed.) in Education/ English from Usman Dan Fodiyo University, Sokoto. Upon completion, I was deployed to Kogi State for the mandatory one-year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) where I taught at GDSSS Adogo, Ajaokuta LGA. From 2008 to date I have been teaching in one of the state's own post secondary schools. |
