| Introduction | Jo was diagnosed with stage 4 Colon Cancer that has metastasized to her liver. She has had two years of different conventional treatments for Stage 4 Colon Cancer, and has gone as far as she can with chemotherapy. Continuing these treatments would cause more harm than healing. There had to be alternative therapies, so after paying for expert opinions and doing a lot of studying and research, it was clear that her best alternatives would be to go out of country. A clinic in Tijuana, Mexico called St. Andrews offered the best treatment options for Jo. | Interests | A basic overview of the therapy that was chosen is to wound the cancer tumors and then cause the immune system to react to those wounds and recognize the cancer cells; so that the body can start self healing itself. Therapy Details: Gerson Diet; Laetrile with IPT Technique (Laetrile: a natural drug that is found in apricot seeds. IPT “Immune Potential Therapy” opens the cancer cells to take in the Laetrile); IV Chelation with high dose of Vitamin C (This is to heal tissue and to remove metal and toxins); IV Hydrogen Peroxide and DMSO (A binder to carry the Hydrogen Peroxide into the cancer cells); Hyperthermia Therapy; Coley Toxin Vaccine (Causes the immune system to recognize cancer cells and attack it); Molgramostim (Which stimulates the immune system, it makes more white blood cells); Her treatment is 6 days a week, from 9am-3pm. The goal is to keep pressure on the cancer cells. |
