| Introduction | My husband (TM) is Japanese and we have a 4 year old daughter. Together we own a small company and I am also a Japanese translator. My involvement with Japan and experiences as a young girl on exchange and then later as a working woman, have given me insights into this mysteriously wonderful country and a hunger for anything 'cultural' or 'experience' related! Life's special moments for me are when I'm cooking or being cooked for (!), finding delicious or rare veggies and foods at markets, enjoying gourmet meals with friends at secret restaurants, those snipets of precious family time, and when I'm in the garden with my daughter, or discovering new cultures and experiences, but mainly... when I'm watching my little elise rose grow.
