Introduction	My soul really is fed by needle and thread... along with a lot of other stuff! My greatest desire is to learn all I can while creating things with my hands. In addition to doing patchwork, applique and quilting, I also enjoy sewing, embroidery, smocking, knitting, crochet and tatting. I also own several knitting machines. It seems I have an insatiable thirst for knowledge about any type of needlecraft that there is. I would love to learn them ALL so that the traditional needle arts will be carried on. My main interest at the moment is quilt piecing both by hand and machine. I am working on improving my hand quilting so that I can finish some of the many tops I have done. (I am an excellent starter but not such a good finisher! I am working on changing that.) I am mom to two wonderful grown daughters and grammie to four super kids. My granddaughter is learning to knit so I am very hopeful that she will perhaps pick up my love for needle crafts.
