Introduction	We are the Española-National Education Association, an affiliate of the National Education Association of New Mexico (NEA-NM) and the National Education Association (NEA). Our Purpose: a). To work for the welfare of school children, the advancement of education, and the improvement of instructional opportunities for all. b). To develop and promote the professional interests and concerns of the members. c.) To promote professional attitudes and ethical conduct among educators. d) To represent members in relations with their employer and, where appropriate, strive to secure and maintain better compensation, benefits and working conditions for them through collective bargaining. e) To encourage educators to exercise their rights and privileges as citizens and to provide leadership in civic affairs. f) To hold property and funds for the attainment of Association purposes.
