| Introduction | The Task Force on Human Sexuality, the Conference of Bishops, Presiding Bishop Mark Hanson, the ELCA Church Council, and the ELCA Churchwide Assembly all capitulated to the gay agenda. I don't think we are in Kansas anymore, Toto! Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain... We will be happy as clams when people entrusted with the teaching office in the ELCA stop promoting the idea that Scripture is not clear. Sola Scriptura is a basic premise of the Reformation and in essence means that scripture has clarity. Luther believed that Scripture interprets itself, that is, by comparing one text to others, God's intended meaning shines through. This could not be more serious. Those who would change the rules had to change our minds by changing how we read Scripture. Souls are at risk, and millstones and ropes are being readied for some white-banded necks! We shellfish are not anti-gay, we are pro-Truth. This blog is against all hate crimes, including those who hate God's Word. Some call the opposition "revisionists." We prefer the term "Confusionists" as they are truly confused and are bent on spreading it around. Your comments are welcomed. |
