| Introduction | Chicklette’s is located in the beautiful Annapolis Valley region in Nova Scotia close to the Bay of Fundy. Our life is centered around our animals and our love for them is evident by our life-style. We are owned by 2 large dogs, 3 cats, a huge turtle, a few turkeys, an Embden gander and several chicken coops of rare, unusual or Heritage chickens. We are slowly expanding our little hobby farm as we are able. We currently own about 23 acres. Most of our land is woodlands and when we aren’t working or playing with our pets you will usually find us clearing pathways in the woods or working in our gardens. The bottom line is this: at Chicklette’s we truly care. UPDATE: In 2014 my husband had open heart surgery and we re-evaluated our lives. As a result we have decided to sell our stock and truly retire. It was a difficult decision but a necessary one. As of November 2015 all of the poultry have been rehomed and we have put the hobby farm up for sale in December 2015. |

| Favorite Books | Lately, anything that is in large print! Hahahaha! I love to read almost anything...gardening, history, real life challenges, humour, horror, suspense... the list goes on! My favourite author is Stephen King and I have quite the collection! |
