Introduction | TA DA! Coming to you from an Assisted Living facility, I present to you what old people do when they get old. (is that redundant?) Well, that’s typical of old people. Redundancy is expected. You might enjoy older posts (2006 – 2010). I wrote of events, family stories, photos and Musings (as in Grandma’s Musings) Please humor me with glowing comments and I will do the same for you. |
Interests | People, Catholic Spirituality, Relationships, Family, Health Issues & Gluten free Nutrition, Blogs and the vast world of the Internet. |
Favorite Movies | The Old Musicals from the 1940's and 1950's, Shirley Temple flicks, Wizard of Oz, stuff like that. I love the musical films with great dancers, Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers, and Rita Hayworth. Wholesome Movie entertainment from the 1940's. I must include Bing Crosby and company, especially the Movie "White Christmas". I spent my teen years at the Rialto theatre in our small Iowa town. |
Favorite Music | Classical and Inspirational, Gregorian Chant, Piano classics, Big Band sounds and Strings. |
Favorite Books | Too many to list. I'm usually reading 4 to 5 books in a given time frame, going from one to the other according to my needs of the day. I'm not a prolific reader because I didn't learn to speed read. I can only read as fast as I can speak, but I thoroughly enjoy it. |
