His scholarly work is eclectic and his main areas of expertise are "organizational behaviour" and "project management". His current study interests include "Post disaster reconstruction" and "Predicting infrastructure renewal needs due to global warming and climate change". Prior to entering the academy, his industrial experiences covered a wide spectrum of industries in the United States and South America in start-ups, turn-arounds and shut-downs.
