| Introduction | I’m an Instructional Technology Specialist, on a Video Conference/Distance Learning Team, write databases, and belong to lots of committees. My teaching certifications are in HS Social Studies and Computer Science. Awards include: JA State HS Economics Teacher of the Year, Apple Computer State HS Teacher of the Year, State Bd of Ed Commendation for integrating Technology and HS Economics, HS Girls Track Coach of the Year, Jaycees Young Educator of the Year. Recent professional development includes: Internet2 Certification and Web Instructors Certification. I was a NG and USAR member of both the U.S. Army’s Recruiting Command and Chemical Corps (as in nuke, bio, chem WMDs). I received numerous awards, including one from the Federal Republic of Germany’s Army. Special training included civil disobedience control, arctic operations against the former Soviet Union, and unconventional tactical operations. I also learned inadvertently crossing into the 38th Parallel is not recommended. My BA, cum laude, is in Political Science, (Political Theory, European Politics); Minor studies: Economics, Classical Latin, Russian/Russian History, English Lit. |
| Interests | U.S. medical system, U.S. education system, exploring religion (hold dual religio-citizenships of Presbyterian and Swaminarayan), global economics and politics, fine cigars, fine scotch, making a successful world for my kids and grandchildren, completing a techno-political novel, and of course using technology as a learning force multiplier |
