| Introduction | I enjoy writing. Especially 'married women coming out' stories. I recently published my first novel called Unexpectations. I came out in my mid-30s from a 14 year marriage (but really a 21 year relationship) to a man I met in high school. I'm not sure why I didn't know sooner that I was gay, but coming out was the scariest thing I'd ever done. I'm so proud to call myself a lesbian now. I want other women to know that they are not alone if they are making the same realization. The new me is also dealing with a head injury that happened in May of 2012. My life has taken a new turn and I'm writing about how this also affects me. My advice to you is to live life to the fullest every day because you never know what will happen. |
