| Introduction | "Don't just talk about it, be about it." My name is Allen Schliebe! I am currently studying Elementary Education at Western Washington University and have my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Pacific Lutheran University. I have 2+ years of experience early childhood education and 5+ years volunteering with teens and elementary age students in grief counseling camps and groups. My goals as an educator can be summed up thusly: "Don't just talk about it, be about it." I believe my role as an educator is first and foremost a role model. I must show my students what it looks like to be a lifelong learner if I expect the same out of them. My goal with this site is to highlight some interesting theories and tactics which can be used in the classroom and at home in order to help students succeed in school and life.
