| Favorite music | Berlioz's "Damnation of Faust" and the symphonies of Bruckner, Anton. Almost all English classical music including and especially Britten. And Spanish romantic composers (Enrique Granados is tops!). |
| Favorite books | Harris, Hitchens, Dawkins, et al.; favorite poet is Hart Crane; favorite novel, "Under the Volcano" by Malcolm Lowry. I like the belle epoch decadence of Joris Karl Huysmans, too. |
