Introduction	Welcome! I'm 25 and I was born profoundly deaf in my right ear (my inner ear doesn't work). Accompanying this is tinnitus (ringing in the ears) and recruitment (inability to listen to mildly loud sounds - to the point where hearing smoke alarms, loud music etc hurts). I decided to start a blog as I'm interested in issues on hearing loss and deafness, and I hope what I write here will help other people who are interested in this stuff as well.
