Introduction Firstly, let me set the record straight.
I am not THE Homer J Simpson.
In my world:
  • Springfield is in Oztralia
  • The nuclear power plant is a Federal Government Department
  • The yellow skin pigment is there. Just not as pronounced
  • I have more hair and less gut
  • I do not typically respond to food with copious drool or by saying "mmm....[foodname]" of whatever food I'm about to eat or think about - but I DO enjoy doughnuts and junk food
  • My wonderful wife Marge is from Malaysia
  • We didn't meet in high school, but at the University of Southern Queensland
  • Our kids are a bit younger than their animated likenesses
  • Bart would rather write comics than collect them
  • Lisa hasn't tried the saxaphone yet, but she loves singing and playing the keyboard (both musical and 'IBM PC-compatible')
  • Maggie's first word was not "Daddy" - but rather "Ba" (which is Chinese for Dad anyway!)
  • We would probably get along with the Flanders family a bit better, though they can be TOO pious. They need to realise that Christianity is about relationship with God, not religion.
