| Introduction | Firstly, let me set the record straight. I am not THE Homer J Simpson. In my world: Springfield is in Oztralia The nuclear power plant is a Federal Government Department The yellow skin pigment is there. Just not as pronounced I have more hair and less gut I do not typically respond to food with copious drool or by saying "mmm....[foodname]" of whatever food I'm about to eat or think about - but I DO enjoy doughnuts and junk food My wonderful wife Marge is from Malaysia We didn't meet in high school, but at the University of Southern Queensland Our kids are a bit younger than their animated likenesses Bart would rather write comics than collect them Lisa hasn't tried the saxaphone yet, but she loves singing and playing the keyboard (both musical and 'IBM PC-compatible') Maggie's first word was not "Daddy" - but rather "Ba" (which is Chinese for Dad anyway!) We would probably get along with the Flanders family a bit better, though they can be TOO pious. They need to realise that Christianity is about relationship with God, not religion. |
