Introduction	I started running marathons, 10K's, 5K's and other types of road races in the late '70's and early '80's. I also ran cross country and track in high school and college. Since my kids have grown up enough for me to resume running/training regularly again, I've also started coaching my daughter's high school cross country team. We did well this year. For the first time in 29 years the girl's fielded a team appearance in the MHSAA State Meet in cross country! My goal for the blog is to simply keep a "web log" of my experiences that involve running, racing and coaching in my ramping up to Ironman Wisconsin when I turn 50 in 2013.
