Introduction For months now I've been under a dark cloud of "blog envy". Enjoying other blogs by friends and family and in the back of my mind wanting to have my own to share, yet never finding the right angle, moment or mood. I don't want my blog to be a bragging-fest. That's just not me. So when my friend Diena showed me a book she'd created by having her blog printed and mailed to her as a sort of family journal, everything finally clicked. I can, in my ever sporadic life, still manage to keep my family and friends updated and as a by-product, create my own family journal. As usual, when the mood hits me, I jump feet first into a project. Tonight I set my sights on creating a blog. I sat down this evening thinking I'd spend 20 minutes and at least get started. An hour later, I'm still grasping at trying to figure this all out. At least I've started. I don't expect I'll feel comfortable sharing this until I figure more things out and maybe get some tips from my wonderful friends and family who have become expert bloggers. I'll never be able to keep up and spend the time I'd like on this, but as any other form of journaling... it's something. . .
