Introduction Unstructured play time has proved to be of utmost importance for elementary school kids, but because of various reasons it has diminished across the country. We believe it is remarkably effective and important to set aside free time for unstructured play so that imaginations can be reawakened. We capitalize on a child’s natural desire to explore and create, while allowing for open-ended outdoor education and discovery. Activities containing elements of hiking, mountain biking, climbing, fishing, orienteering, fort building, bird identification, and basic wilderness survival make up our outdoor adventure programs for girls and boys in grades K through 5. We are extremely conscious of maintaining an environment where kids are encouraged to simply be kids, enjoy themselves and enjoy their natural surroundings.
