Introduction	Jennifer Spinney Gutierrez grew up in a small town on the east coast of Canada. All her life she dreamed of adventure and the open road so one day she threw a few prized possessions into the trunk of her car and headed west with no clear destination in mind. Upon her arrival in Vancouver, BC, she stopped driving-perhaps because she could go no further without landing in the Pacific Ocean. Tired of driving, Jennifer set about the task of finding a job and apartment and began planning her next big adventure. One day, on the way to the rest of her life, Jennifer tripped over a man and fell kicking and screaming into the suburbs where she remains to this day-constantly plotting escape...
