| Introduction | REbuild Saint Louis was planted after seeing the need of restoration in the lives of people and communities in the city of Saint Louis. Since the introduction of California street gangs to the city and crack cocaine between 1987 & 1989, the inner city of Saint Louis has been trampled over by violence, the affects of drug abuse and poverty. Each year Saint Louis has been grouped in the top ten "Most Dangerous Cities" in the country to live. The crime and poverty of the city are also matched by teenage pregnancy, std's, and high dropout rates. REbuild Saint Louis was founded by a person that was once a part of this cycle Travis "Thisl" Tyler. One time gang member/drug dealer Travis along side with "RBSTL" plan to walk with the people of this city to help "Rebuild" lives and communties. |
