Introduction	Welcome to our blog! I wanted to start one for myself since with four small children and a new business, life is going by at the speed of light. In the grand rush I don't want to forget the details! As for history, James and I met at Camp WinShape as summer staffers during the summer of 1991. We began dating three summers later, in 1994. We were married August 17, 1996 just after we both graduated from college. We spent the next year trying to guess what was next, and then God dropped positions at Camp Skyline in Alabama right in our laps. In 2000 we moved to Cleveland, Georgia, and started work on our dream, Strong Rock Camp and Retreat, which opened in June of 2005. Along with my parents, we are now camp owners and run summer camp for boys and girls, and retreats during the off-season. In July of 2003 God blessed us with our first child, Amelia. Her brother Shannon joined us in October of 2004. Then in September of 2006 we were blessed with another son, Avery. Elizabeth was born in June of 2008. Life at the Himstedt house is lively, busy, fun, crazy, loud, entertaining, frustrating, and wonderful!
